Work that turkey off with a run in the woods…

Run the Wishbone Run trail marathon in Gig Harbor’s beautiful Crescent Forest the day after Thanksgiving and avoid all the crowds at the mall. A tour of the Crescent Forest will be much more pleasant.

The race starts at 7:30 a.m.

There will be an aid station central to the course and at the start/finish of each loop. There will be water and Gatorade available on the course. Other amenities are a possibility, but not certain! Check back closer to race day. (Please NO LITTERING!)

A porta potty will be available at the start, and then will move to the aid station after the start.

Parking is somewhat limited, so please think about carpooling.

No relay teams.

Trail dogs are welcome, just remember that a few of us are nervous of dogs and don’t appreciate having our heels nipped or our dogs chased by other dogs.

Entry Fee: $20 donation day of race, money will be donated to the local food bank. http://gigharborpeninsulafish.com/help.html

If you want to bring some food to share with others after the event, that would be wonderful. It’s all up to you. Hopefully there will be a bumper crop of huckleberries so that we can have pancakes again.
